She was a longtime resident of Woodbine, GA where she and her late husband, Clyde Crews, raised their family. Her family said of her, “To friends who knew her, she was the sweetest, most caring woman they had ever met. To her family, there was no one greater. She was their world, the person who taught them how to live. Her unconditional love for God, her husband, children and (great) grandchildren showed in everything she did. She was proud of her family! You would constantly hear her talking about them, sharing the silliest stories of her great grandchildren’s latest adventures because those were the ones who brought her the greatest joy. She had a deep love for the church and loved to hear her church choir singing. Virginia was a very well loved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. The comforting sound of her laugh and shining smile will be deeply missed by those who loved her. “
