Mr. Alexander Charles Toth, Jr. age 83 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7th, 2015.
Mr. Toth was born on Sunday, June 12th, 1932 in Niles, Ohio. Mr. Toth is the son of the late Florence Henrietta Boss Toth & Alexander Charles Toth, Sr.
After graduating from Southwest High School St. Louis in 1950, Mr. Toth spent time in seminary at Carthage College. His professional career was spent as a jack-of-all-trades. He was a race car driver in the 1950’s, even attempting to qualify for the Indianapolis 500. He owned a heating and air conditioning business in St. Louis in the late 1960’s, a marina on Greers Ferry Lake Arkansas in the early 1970’s, was a race car crew chief in the mid to late 1970’s, owned a machine shop in the 1980’s. Mr. Toth finally rounded out his career as an aircraft mechanic and airport operator until his retirement in the mid 1990’s.
Mr. Toth is survived by his children & their spouses, Christine & Gerald Good of Claremore, Ok. and Andrew & Barbara Toth of Boise, Id., his sister, Blanche Williams of Overland Park, Ks.; and his grandchildren, Erin & Mitchel Loveland of Adkins, Ar., Brenton & Paula Blaylock of Leola, Ar., Allison and Derek Toth, both of Boise, Id.
A celebration of Mr. Toth’s life will be held at 10AM Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church LC-MS at 165 Camden Woods Parkway, Kingsland, Ga. with Pastor Joel Meyer officiating the service.
