Dollie Mae TreadwayMrs. Dollie Mae Treadway, age 82, of Kingsland, GA passed on to walk with Jesus on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus.

Mrs. Treadway was born in Lawrence County, Ohio on May 19, 1932 to the late John and Roxie Stapleton.

Sister Dollie was a devoted Christian, loved to witness and spread the word of her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. In her youth she found comfort in gardening, knitting, cooking, teaching Sunday school, and being an active member of her church. For those of us who knew her, we could always confide in her our secrets, our troubles, and our doubts. She would always provide us with her words of wisdom, comforting advice and always ended with a prayer. Her caring nature and love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Sharon) Hamlin, Deborah (Joe) Ribley; her grandchildren, Melinda Murray, William Harris, Sheila Harris, Terri Jackson, Robert Hamlin, Joie Adkins; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Greg Davis, David Barton, Amber Harris, Tori Harris, Logan Harris, Matthew Lee, Nathan August, Zack August, Mandy Howard, Kayla Foddrell, Kenneth Adkins, Eathan Adkins, Tamra Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Destiny Hamilton, and Larry Jackson; and her great, great- grandchildren, Gurley Clark, Macy Ramey, Katie Ramey, Natalie Young, Braiden Lee, Roxanna Grace Howard, Daylin Howard, and Riley Copeland.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Treadway was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, William Treadway, her daughter, Roberta (Frank) Harris; her granddaughter, Angie Harris; and her great granddaughter, Courtney Harris.

Calling hours for Mrs. Treadway will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held in the Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 31, 2014 at noon. Interment will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Folkston, Ga. Pallbearers will be Robbie Hamlin, Gene Murray, Bo Atkins, Larry Jackson, Jordan Foddrell, and Dustin Howard.
