Mr. Randall Allen Collupy, age 51 of Altamonte Springs, Fl. passed away at his daughter’s home in the late morning hours of Saturday, January 4th, 2014.
Mr. Collupy was born on July 19th, 1962 in Denver, Colorado and is the youngest of four children. He is the son of the late Leonard Allen Collupy and Patricia Golder Collupy.
Mr. Collupy’s family was most important to him and he was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren. His greatest joy was being called Papa and spending time with his grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear machinist. He loved working with his hands and he could always fix anything that was broken. Mr. Collupy had a very adventurous soul and loved experiencing new things, including white water rafting, flying in a bi-plane, skydiving, and many other activities. He will be remembered for his very unique sense of humor. Mr. Collupy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Collupy is survived by his wife, Gracie Roberts Collupy of Altamonte Springs, Fl.; his daughters, Alicia (Brian) Jones of St. Marys, Ga. and Brittany (Frank) Meiklejohn of Kingsland, Ga.; his sons, Marty (Katie) Turner of Kingsland and Wil (Vanessa) Turner of Charlotte, NC; his mother, Patricia Collupy of Louisiana; his sister, Erin Scott in Louisiana; his brothers, Terry (Ruthie) Collupy of Denver, Co. and Jeff (Rachael) Collupy in New Hampshire; and his grandchildren, Sammy Cozzolino, Rachel Turner, Karoline Turner, Kalliann Turner, Robbie Meiklejohn, Zac Turner, Hayden Jones and Mikenna Turner.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home with Brother Mike Patton presiding. Military honors will be rendered to conclude the service.
