Luva Nell Straub Boulware

Ms. Luva Nell Straub Boulware, age 93 of Landing Circle in Browntown passed away at her residence on Thursday morning, June 6th, 2013.

Ms. Boulware was born near Mayfield, Kentucky on June 4th, 1920. She is the daughter of the late Fred and Zetta Grace Straub. Nell Boulware was an enthusiastic and accomplished artist. She loved to oil paint and make interesting art out of unusual items from nature. Nell collected seashells, bird feathers, interesting pictures from magazines, and spent much of her time observing God’s wonderful and beautiful creations. Nell was also a most generous, humane, and loving person. She was always there to lend a hand to those who were less fortunate than herself, even at times when she had nothing for herself. She loved children and spent much of her life giving herself to others children and nurturing them in ways that none other could do. Some called her Nana and some called Aunt Nell, but all of them felt her warm genuine love. Many of them stay in contact with her and some may come to pay their last respects. Nell was a most fearless and adventurous character. She loved to travel and see new people, places and things of life. Above all things, Nell was a Godly woman and a woman who processed a great faith in her Savior. He will be well pleased to call His good and faithful servant.

Ms. Boulware is survived by her children, Linda Crews and her husband Jim of Kingsland/Browntown, Gary Randall Boulware and his wife Julia of Laramie, WY., Darrell Gene Boulware and his wife Susan of Logan, NM, and Kenneth Dewayne Boulware and his wife Dorothy of Kansas City, KS.; her grandchildren, Brinson Crews and his wife Cheryl of Woodbine, Tommy, David, Jerry and DeWayne Boulware of Kansas City, Ks., Kim and Mindy Boulware of Amarillo, TX., Jeff Boulware of Albuquerque, NM, , Dustin Boulware of Tuttle, OK and Sonny Boulware; her nieces, Zetta Mae Berry, Lenell Dalrymple, and Sylvia Hall and her husband Bill; and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 am, Monday, June 10th, 2013 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Raybon, Ga. with Pastor George Anderson of New Hope Baptist Church of St. Marys, Ga. presiding.
