Edward Vincent Ferrell, age 33 of Kingsland passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 5th, 2012.
Mr. Ferrell was born in Riverdale, Georgia on January 2nd, 1979. He is the son of Terry Eugene and Theresa Gail Clifton Ferrell, Sr. Edward met his wife, Jennifer Summers, in the summer of ‘07. She was a single mother of three children. Edward fell in love with all four and they were married the following year in October. He was both a loving husband and doting father. Edward supported Jennifer, while she attended nursing school and was nicknamed “Mr. Mom”. He was always finding ways to surprise his wife with loving trinkets and was known to “spoil her rotten”. His youngest son, Logan was a huge part of his life and was nicknamed by Edward as his “mini me”. They were often found riding around together in this bright red truck, usually on their way to fish.
His parents shared that Edward was always a loving son and brother that always had a hug and a smile that lit up the room when he came in. “We’ll see you again when we have that reunion around our Heavenly Father’s table, where we’ll laugh and embrace again.” Edward will be missed by his family that he touched and left too soon. He will forever live in their hearts and in the wonderful memories he left behind.
Mr. Ferrell is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ferrell; his sons, Justin and Logan Kelly, and his daughter, Susannah Summers, all of Kingsland; his sister, Heather (Jeremy) Reed, of Hinesville, GA; his brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Ferrell, Jr. and David Ferrell, all of Kingsland, Kenneth Ferrell, of Charleston, SC., and James Ferrell, of Jacksonville, Fl.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral services were held privately by the family.
