Mr. Robert J. Yingling, 68 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away in the late evening hours Monday, October 17th, 2011 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Mr. Yingling was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on July 24th, 1943. He is the son of the late William and Elizabeth Julia Somergy Yingling. Mr. Yingling was a sheet metal fabricator with Boeing for most of his working life. His passions included hunting, fishing, reading and collecting firearms. His memberships included being a lifetime member of both the NRA and the North American Hunting Club. He was also a member of the Wildlife Foundation and the Southeastern Gun Club. He will be sadly missed by those who loved him best.
Mr. Yingling is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Yingling; his cherished daughters, Carolyn (Dennis) Hayes and Barbara Jean (William) Crouse-Miller all of Kingsland; his dear siblings Gerry Lemon of Arizona, Marion Cochran of Oxford, Pa., William (Joyce) Yingling, Jr of St. Cloud, Fl., John Yingling of Oxford, Pa. and Joseph (Donna) Yingling of Delaware Co. Pa.; his precious grandchildren, Branden (Heather) Moore of Ca., Holly Moore in Ok. and Brett Crouse of Kingsland; and his darling great granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Moore of Ok.
A celebration of Mr. Yingling’s life and burial will be held at 11 am Saturday October 22nd, 2011 at Fernwood Cemetery in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
