Lynn Ellen Peatman, 56 of Kingsland passed away Wednesday, June 29th, 2011 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Ms. Peatman was born in Bristol, Connecticut on May 2nd, 1955. She is the daughter of the late William Connolly and Janet Vally Connolly. After high school, she attended the Daytona Beach Community Collage and later became a Correction’s Officer with the Seminole County, Florida Jail. Ms. Peatman eventually started her own business in domestic and business cleaning services. The children say her family and mostly her grandchildren were the passion and reason for her life and that she loved her grandchildren with every breath in her. She was known to them as “Nana”. They shared that she was a woman who loved unconditionally, both family and friends. She sacrificed a lot of herself and invested greatly into the lives of her children and grandchildren. Also spoken was that she was strongest person they had ever met, and that she struggled every day with lupus and other medical conditions. She fought with everything in her and never gave up. Her sense of humor always came shining through. The shared that they were all blessed to have spent the time they did with her, but she is now in a better place and not hurting any more. Ms. Peatman will be missed greatly by those whose lives she touched.
Ms. Peatman is survived by her children, Jamie P. (Louis) Quinones of Kingsland and Timothy (Kristy) Peatman of Fletcher, NC; her brother, Sean Connolly of Port Orange, Fl.; her step mother, Rhoda Connolly of Torrington, Conn., and her grandchildren, Katie Varner, Dylan Peatman, Logan Peatman and Gracie Moore. Besides her parents, Ms. Peatman was also preceded in passing by her brother, Timothy Connolly.
A celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date.
