Deanna Michelle MarshallMs. Deanna Michelle Marshall, 37 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away in the early hours of Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Southeast Georgia Health System’s Brunswick Campus.

Ms. Marshall was born in Macon, Georgia on April 17th, 1973. She is the daughter of Donald Scott Marshall and the late Nancy McKeithen Ridenour. Growing up in Camden County, Deanna was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in St. Marys.  She also enjoyed researching genealogy and brought together many family members from both her mother’s and father’s side that had been adopted. She enjoyed researching the history of Camden County and its people. Deanna fought a courageous battle with kidney disease for many years and she never complained about her circumstances. Her smile was worth a million and her kindness touched many lives.  She will be missed by all who crossed her path in life.

Ms. Marshall is survived by her fiancé, Huck Horne of Kingsland; her parents, Donald Scott and Patricia Marshall of Hillsboro, Ga. and William and Linda Ridenour of St. Marys; her sisters, Tanis Readdick (Mark) Worsley of Hendersonville, Tn., Sharon (Robert) Holmes of Kingsland and Katie (Kelly) Hendrix of St. Marys, her brothers, Tony (Lisa) Outlaw of Sylvester, Ga, and Dorsey (Heather) Popham of Kingsland; her grandmother, Jean Dulong of Hillsboro; a  very special friend, Chris Wainright of Kingsland; 15 nephews and 2 nieces. Ms. Marshall was predeceased by her mother, Nancy McKeithen Ridenour; her brother, Tony Ridenour and her grandparents, A.C. and Jan McKeithen, and Scott Hicks Marshall.

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday April 17th, 2011 at 2 pm in the Wainwright Chapel at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Grubb, Dr. Emily Feely, Dr. Theodore Feely, Dr. Shutak, the staff of SE Georgia Health System Brunswick and Venus Dialysis Unit for all their care.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kidney foundation, The American Heart Association or the Camden County Humane Society.
