Connie survived open heart surgery as an infant, a broken back as a teenager, and all the hardships of adulthood.
She was a skilled worker and has held a variety of occupations. Connie had numerous talents and abilities. She was unique because she could be anything you needed her to be. If you needed a friend she was your friend. If you needed a nurse, she was your nurse. If you needed a comedian, she was your comedian. The demands on her were 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She was a survivor, a provider, a teacher, a financial manager, a care taker, a fabulous cook, a house keeper, a networker, a multitasker, a woman, an aunt, a sister, a daughter and a single mother. Her greatest accomplishment and legacy is her daughter Kayla to whom she devoted her entire life.
