Mrs. Alice Louise Pristavec, 65 of Kingsland passed away Saturday, April 4th, 2009 at Kindred Hospital of North Florida in Green Cove Springs, Florida.
Mrs. Pristavec is a native of Duval County, Florida. She was born in Jacksonville on September 30, 1943 and is the daughter of the late Murdoch and Thelma Balkum Jones. Alice and Paul enjoyed 25 years of happiness together. They were married June 3 1984. She was a barber in Florida and Georgia for 30 years, and enjoyed all the people that she served. Alice was a member of Hidden Treasures Assembly of God in Kingsland Georgia.
Mrs. Pristavec is survived by her husband Paul Pristavec of Kingsland; her daughter Carma Hallock (Jim) of Oregon; her sons, Thomas Hand (Julia) of Kingsland and Daniel Pristavec of Arkansas; her sisters Linda Hall of Orange Park, Fl. and Lois Martino of New York; her 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday April 7th, 2009 at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday April 8th, 2009 at Edo Miller Funeral Home Camden Chapel in Kingsland with Pastor Robert Dyal presiding. The casket bearers will be Thomas and Julia Hand, William, Arlington and Joe Nettles, and Mark and Frank Lee.
