Isaac C. Walker, 70, of Bronson, Fl. passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Walker was a Camden County native. He was born in Woodbine, GA on May 10th, 1938 to the lates John & Joyce Miller Walker. Mr. Walker attended Camden County schools. He enlisted in the US Army from1962 to 1966 and was stationed in Japan and Korea for his tour of duty. He earned his high school diploma in service. Afterwards, he became a diesel engineer for dredging operations, which took him as far away as Australia. Mr. Walker married Margie Crews in 1966 and they have shared 43 years together. Mr. Walker was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was always willing to lend a hand and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Margie Crews Walker of Bronson; his daughters, Donna Walker Thomas(Kevin) of Fanning Springs, and Lori G. Crews Brazzill of Port St. Lucie; his son, Wayne Chapman(Barbara) of Bronson; his sister, Betty Ray (Vernon) of Kingsland; his brother, Donald F. Walker, Sr.(Patricia) of Brunswick; his brother in law Olin D.(Diane) Crews and 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Along with his parents, Mr. Walker was also preceded in death by his brother J. W. Walker in 1994.
A visitation was held starting at 6:00 PM Thursday May 22nd, 2008 at Edo Miller Funeral Home Camden Chapel in Kingsland.
Graveside services were held at 3:00 PM Friday May 23rd, 2008 at Jones Cemetery in Callahan, FL with Rev. L. C. Allen presiding.
